Full Transcript

The U S. Has imposed a travel ban on about 39 countries, 20 of which have a full ban, meaning that nobody can get a visa from those 20 countries in order to come to America. The other 19 have partial bans. Now, what that means is that F1 students, M1 students, J1 students, all these individuals who are coming to study in America, you can no longer get a visa for that. And also, if you wanna come as a tourist, you can't get a visa for that. Now, this is interesting, because next year is the World Cup, and it's hosted in America. So what does it mean to the fans who want to come to the World Cup, but their country is banned from travelling? What does that mean? We have way more questions than we do have answers. And this is why I think this is going to be challenged in the courts, because there's just too many unknowns. So if you are wanting to come and study in America next year, but your country is on a visa ban, then this is what I suggest you do. You should still apply to universities in America. This is because the travel ban can get lifted anytime. There could be some type of ruling that temporarily pauses this. So I would encourage you to still be applying, especially now that students are not going to be applying. It's going to give you a higher chance of getting Accepted to these universities and colleges if the bans get lifted. Now, I am staying on top of this, so definitely follow my page if you want the latest information on immigration in America.
