USA Travel Ban 2026: 39 Countries Face F1 Student Visa Restrictions

The United States has updated its travel ban list and basically what this means is that more countries have been added to the list. Now the list has 39 countries on it, of which 20 are fully banned, meaning that you cannot get a visa from any of those countries to come to America. The other 19 have a partial ban, meaning you cannot get certain visas in order to come to America. Now unfortunately, those visas that you cannot get are student visas and tourist visas. So what that means is you cannot come and travel to America on a student or a tourist visa in 2,026 if your country is on the partial ban list. Now there is another list of countries that are most likely to be added to the next travel ban. Now this was leaked, so again, we are not saying that these are the countries that are gonna be added. It's just it was leaked that these could potentially be the next countries. Now some of the countries on this leaked list are big countries such as Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, and even Ghana. So these are major African countries that are potentially going to be banned next. Now I am keeping a close eye on all of this and will keep you guys updated on any changes.
