US Travel Ban 2026: Why Students Should Still Apply to American Universities

If your country was placed on the U S. Travel ban, but you really still wanna come and study in america, then I need you to listen to this. You should still be applying to schools in america. And the reason why I say this is because, number one, many people have stopped applying to schools in america. And what that means is there's less competition for you to get accepted into these colleges and universities. And that leads me to number two. The reason why you should still be applying is because if you get accepted to any of these schools or universities, then you can defer your admissions, which basically means you can tell these schools that, hey, I can't come this year, but I would love to come next year. And since it was easier for you to get into these schools, you have now the opportunity to actually be able to attend the school in the future. Now, the reason why this is great is because at any time, the U S. Government can adjust their policies and your country can be taken off the travel ban list. And once that happens, you'd be able to get your visa because you already have an admission from the universities. So what you need to be doing is you still need to be applying to schools in america, even if your country is on the U S. Travel ban list. So definitely still apply to schools in america.
