How I Got Into Harvard, UPenn & Brown: Extracurriculars Over Grades

I got into harvard, UPenn, and brown university, which are all ivy league schools. The way I got into them is through my extracurricular activities and not through my grades. Now let me actually explain this because it's super important if you wanna get into many of these schools. All of these schools get a ton of students. They already have ten thousand students applying to them who have perfect grades. They now need to distinguish between them. They need to know which students to let in. And the way they do that is through the extracurricular activities. And this again is because they want to find the next elon musk, the next bill gates, the next jeff bezos. And the only way they're going to find these people is by looking at people who are intelligent and who are doing things outside of school. So they don't want just somebody who's smart. They want somebody who's smart, then uses that smartness to create businesses or create organisations or change the world. That's what they're looking for. So if you serious about getting into many of these schools, you have to make sure your extracurricular activities are exceptional. And I want you guys to even think of it this way. The more exceptional your extracurricular activities are, the lower your grades can be. So if you are doing something amazing and out of this world, but your grades are not perfect, then you can still get accepted into many Of these schools, even though your grades are lower than most of the other people who are applying. So you need to make sure you understand that. There are so many people who are sending me messages telling me that they have perfect grades, but they are unable to get into many of these schools. And that is the reason why their extracurricular activities are not as good as many of the other people who are applying to this school.
