Why Internships Are Crucial for International Students in America

so one of the best things you could do as an international student in America is get an internship now the reason why I say this is because a lot of international students don't prioritise them so instead of you know like going and working at a company during the summer many international students will just like work on campus and stuff like that which is okay you know but it's much much better if you can get your foot into the door of a corporation and the reason why I say this is because once you graduate it becomes very hard to try and find a job as an international student but if you've gotten an internship before you already have a step in the door of a specific company so it's typically much easier to kind of convert that internship into a full time opportunity so what you should be doing as an international student basically is trying to get internships while you're in college you know try after your freshman year your sophomore year your junior year every single time just be trying to get internships and one of the things that I learnt is the best way you can actually get an internship is by networking but of course um everybody is different but what I've seen is networking is probably the best way for you to get an internship as an international student
