Study in America for free, part 6. So this series is for people who want to come and study in America for free as an international student. Now, I'm specifically talking about bachelor's degree in this series, and in the next series, I'll be talking about master degrees. Now, in the last video, I had spoken about the S A T. And whether you need to take it or not if you're an international student. Now, the beautiful thing about it is most international students don't need to take it because there's so many schools that are test optional. However, there is a criteria whereby I do say that you need to take the S A T, and that is if you have low grades. Now, what I wanna talk about next is the English proficiency exam. So many of these schools require that you have English proficiency, meaning that you understand English, you can read English, you can write English, and you can communicate clearly in English. one way that they certify this is by having you take an English proficiency exam, such as the IELTS or the TOEFL, or even the Duolingo D E T. Now, if you come from an English speaking country or you've studied in English, then you can actually get a waiver for this exam. Now, if you don't come from an English speaking country, or if you have not studied in English, then you will be required to take an English proficiency Exam. There are only eight schools that can give you a full scholarship that don't require you to take an English proficiency exam. So there is still hope if you don't wanna take an English proficiency exam. But in order to apply to the majority of schools, you'll need to take that English proficiency exam. Now this actually brings us to the end of part 6 for our series. In Part 7, I'm going to be talking about some other requirements that you need to have in order to apply to these schools.
