CSS Profile: Your Key to Full Scholarships in the USA (Part 8)

Study in America for free, part 8. So in this series, I've been giving you guys the secrets on how you can come and study in America for free as an international student for your bachelor's degree. Now, in the last video, I had spoken about what's needed for you to apply to schools in America. Now, what I need to speak about is something called the C S S. Profile. Now, this is super important because all these schools that I'm about to recommend that you apply to, all of them give something called need based financial aid. And the way they give that need based financial aid is determined through the C S S. Profile. Now, the C S S. Profile is actually something that these colleges and universities that I recommend are going to be using in order to determine how much money you need in order for you to be able to study at their college or university. Now, basically, how it works is you going to be filling out a bunch of financial information about yourself and your family, and then the universities are going to be using that financial information that you've given them to determine how much money you can actually afford to pay for your college or university expenses. Now, what that means in simple terms, is they're going to look at how much money you have in your pocket, then they're going to determine how much money you can actually pay To them if you get accepted to their college. And then they're going to give you a scholarship for the difference. Let's say you have only $5 in your pocket and you apply to these schools, and these schools will determine that you don't have enough money in order for you to pay any tuition or anything like that. So they can give you a full scholarship as a result. Now, I actually have a video where I show you how to fill out the C S S. Profile. It is on my YouTube page. So basically, in order to get full scholarships in America, what you're going to do is you're going to be applying to the schools that I recommend using the Common App, and then you're going to be filling out the C S S. Profile and submitting it to each of the schools that you've applied to. Now, the C S S. Profile does cost money. However, there are a couple of schools that can give you a fee waiver or an alternative form that you fill out in order to apply for financial aid at their schools. Now, I'm going to make sure that I actually mention that for each of the schools that I recommend so that you guys know whether you can apply for financial aid at that school without needing to Pay. So that brings us to the end of part eight. I'm going to see you in part 9, where we summarize everything. And then I'm going to start sharing with you the schools that you need to be applying to.
