[Music] So a lot of people have been asking me to apply to some universities just to show you how you guys can apply. So what I'm doing is I am applying to Dennis University. So let's get started. So, the first thing you're going to do is go to their website. Then you're going to click the apply. Okay. So, what you're going to do is you're going to see that you're going to be applying and you'll get to this page. And if you scroll down, you'll see that they say start your application. So, you can click on that. When you start your application, they're going to ask you to create a common app. All right. So, they're going to ask you to create a common app. I'm going to hit accept all. Now, there's two options here. one for first year students, the other one for transfer students. So if you're most people are going to be applying as firstear students and others are going to be transfer students. Okay, but what we'll do is we're going to start as a firstear student. So what I'm going to do is I am going to create an account because I don't have a common app account. So what I'll do is create an account first. Now, as I'm created an account, I am going to select the type of student that I am. If it's your first time going to college in America or anywhere else, if you don't have a bachelor's degree and you haven't gone to college, then you're going to click on this firstear student. But if you are a transfer student, it means that you already at another school right now and you want to transfer to the school that uh that you're applying to. So what I'm going to click over here is going to be first year student. Okay. So now what I'm going to do is actually put in my email and um also create a password. Now I'm going to be creating a password. Again they give you the conditions of what your password needs to be. Okay. So I'm going to come over here and I can make my password. And you can see I put in the wrong password. So I need to make sure it's the correct password. There you go. Now you're going to select one of these, right? Um, are you applying as a first year student and plan to start college in 2025 or 2026? This for most of you guys is going to be yes. But if you're planning to to start college or university in 2027 or beyond, you're going to click one of those. Okay. And now what you're going to do is you're going to write your first name. And then what you're going to do is if um you'd like people to call you differently from that first name, you can you can actually put that in here. So I'm going to just say no. Then my family name, I'm going to put that. Now next is going to be my birth date. It's going to be when I was born. Then I'll put my birth date and then I'm going to put a phone number. Now again, make sure that you put the correct country code over here. Okay. And now I'm going to put my address and again you have to put your country and then your address. So now I have my address in. I have the the contact information. And I'm going to scroll down and they're going to ask you some questions such as are you currently based in the European Union or the United Kingdom. You'd say yes if you are, but if you're not, you'll say no. Would you like to receive communications from Common App about opportunities and resources? Um, again, you you you can say either yes or no. This is optional like whether you want to receive resources. I would encourage you to get receive resources though. And now you're going to click down here that um you um have viewed the following. So click the terms of use if you want to read all of that. But basically you have to click the following here to agree um to use this application. And now you're going to hit create account. Perfect. So now that you've created the account you are in and basically as you can see here Dennis University is the first one that's on my list here. So what you're going to do is you are going to fill out this account. This is the common app. You can apply to multiple colleges. So what you're going to do first though is come and complete your sections over here. All right. You're going to be having sections over here. Come and complete them first and then add the colleges that you want to apply to. So for instance over here, profile I'm going to click on profile and on profile they're going to have my name. I can put my middle name. I can put a suffix. So, if you're a junior or senior, most people you can just leave that empty. And then, do you have any materials under a former legal name? So, if you if you've changed your name recently, um if you got unmarried or something, then you would say yes, I have um some materials under another name. But most people, again, this is going to be no. Okay. And then you have your birthday and everything here. And you're just going to see hit continue. And then for your address, you've already kind of written it down there, but basically it's going to show you the address that you put be before. And and then it's going to also be now um they're going to ask you a question about your alternate mailing address. Basically, if you want your mail to be sent to a different place than the address that you put up here. Um and this is how they also will let you know that you've been accepted and um also communicate lots and lots of information to you. So, make sure this is all correct. Most people they would want their mail to come to their duress. So you would say no over here and you can continue. Now this is about your phone numbers. Uh put in whatever this phone number is. Is it your home phone number or your mobile phone number? This is mobile. Um this comes from previously or from the previous question. And you can put another phone number here if you want, but I don't have another phone number that I want to put. I'm going to hit continue. And as you can see as I'm filling this out, you can see over here my profile is getting complete. So the next is demographics. I am a male. Um legal sex in America. Um there's something called sex, which is very similar to gender, but it has a different some different definitions. Um so me, I also identify as a male. So I'll click that. Um the pronouns again this is something unique to America. Uh but basically um if you are a man um then you're going to go he him. If you are a a woman you'll go she her generally. So I'm going to go he him over here. Then US armed forces. Most likely you are not in the US Army so you're going to say none. Um Hispanic or Latino. This is basically individuals who have a Spanish origin. And um if you don't have a Spanish origin um then you're going to say no over here. And then regardless of your answer to the pri previous questions, please indicate how you identify yourself. Again, what's your race? And basically I'm just going to go black over here. Okay. And which best describes you? I'm going to say Africa. Okay. So I'm an African. Now if you're unsure of any of these, please please please um Google them. because it is quite different from other places um um in America here. So, you're going to hit continue and you're going to have languages. How many languages are you proficient in? I'm proficient in like three languages. Oh, basically, let me put two languages to be quite frank cuz one of the other languages I'm not as good in as as I used to be. So, the first language is going to be English. Uh I'm going to say first language speak, right? All of that. And the second language is French. So, I'm going to come here and put in French. And I um it's also kind of my first language, but I'll leave that to be English. Um but I speak um I can read some French and it is spoken at home, but I can't write French unfortunately. Um so I'm going to hit continue. Now, birth country. So this is where you born. Where were you born? So, I was born in South Africa. City of birth is your city. Which city were you born in? I'm just going to put Kemp Park. Uh, now number of years, um, you have lived in the United States. Most of you guys are going to be zero. Um, I've lived here for over 10 years, right? So, actually not even 10, like 12 years now. Um, select your citizenship status. So most of you guys over here are not citizens. Okay, you're not citizens. So what you type over here is or what you would select over here is citizen of a non US country. This is what you're going to click over here most of you. Okay. Um now you're going to go down or scroll down and list the countries of citizenship. And I'm going to put in South Africa here. And then do you currently hold a valid US visa? Most of you guys are going to be no. Um do you intend to apply for a new or different US visa? Um you would say yes over here. Okay. And basically what you would say is you want to come as an F1 student. So your visa type is going to be F1 student. All right. Um, now again, this doesn't really all apply to me anymore, but for most of you, this is how it's going to look like. You're going to put your country. You're going to have you're going to say, "No, I do not hold a valid US visa." And then you intend to apply for a visa. Yep. And what visa? F1 student. Now, common app fee waiver. This is important. This is where you can get a fee waiver. So, you do not have to pay for your applications. Now, what you're going to do is you're going to read through this and see if you qualify, right? So, one of which is you're enrolled in a federal free um or reduced price lunch program. Um or and this is probably not going to apply to you. Um here you have received or eligible to receive an SAT or ACT fee waiver. This is probably also not going to apply to you. uh your income falls between so okay this is the one that's probably going to apply to most people right uh your annual family income falls within the income eligibility guidelines set by the USDA food and nutrition services so this is basically saying you don't come from a family that's rich and what you can do is actually go and Google this so actually um look at family incomes you can just Google that you can search it real quick here and it will give you the numbers. So, let's click the the most recent number over here. Um, let's kick the most recent number over here. And you can see basically if your household income probably has three people and your your family doesn't make $26,000 at least then you then you qualify for a fee waiver. Okay. So most people are going to qualify for a fee waiver. Um basically that's how you would be qualifying. Um yeah but you can read through all of this. Um, you can also provide supporting document from a school official or somebody who actually says that you you deserve a fee waiver. Um, so let's keep on going. Um, so over here I'm going to just say yes. And then you're going to certify that you meet the eligibility. Um, so this is basically how you get the fee waiver. You're going to say yes over here. And then you're going to just put in your name. And then they have another thing here. you Strive is a common app partner that connects you with free stuff here, applying to college and stuff like that, you should say yes, you should say yes here. Okay. Uh because this is just extra help. But personally, I'm just going to say no cuz I don't need it. Okay. Now, perfect. So, we've got our we've completed the profile. Now, we're going to complete all these other stuff over here. So, as you can see, it takes time to apply. Um firstly, your parents marital status. So your parents marital status. Status basically means are your parents married, divorced, were they never married, etc. So my parents are still married. Um with whom do you make your permanent home? You can say which parents are you living with? You can say other, etc., etc. So I'm on other, but most of you guys will probably have both parents here. So let's just click both parents. Do you have any children? You would say yes if you have children. and you'll tell them how many, but I don't have a kid right now, so I'll say no here. And most of you guys will also be probably saying no. And then you're going to put information about your first parent. They're going to ask you first parent, who is it? Um, I can put my mother or even my father here as first parent. Are they living? Yes. And then you're going to put their names. Okay? And you can also put their emails if you want to over here. You can put their phone numbers if you want to. Again, it's not it's not required. Only the ones that are required are their first and their last name. Okay. Now, what you can do is uh um also answer this last question. So, this one here is required. Highest education level. Um so, some grade or primary school, whatever your parents highest educational level is. You're going to hit continue. Uh the next one can be the father or mother or whoever else. Um yes. And you can type in your parents' name. And again for this you can click whatever their highest educational level is. And then they're going to ask you for siblings and you can put how many siblings you have. You know let's say you have four siblings. You'll put all the information for four siblings. Okay. So, um, what I'll do though is I'll just put two siblings, my brother and then my sister. Again, sometimes you don't have to fill out all the information. So, I'm only filling out where there's a red um asterisk over here. As you can see, that's required, but the age isn't required, so I didn't fill that in. So, basically, yes, that's it. That's our family. And now it's time for the education. So for the education, what you want to do is you want to find your school. Now I'm going to try find my school. And most likely if you try and find your school, it's not going to be there because you're an international um student. So you're just going to click I don't see my high school in this list and continue. And then you're going to put the information of this school. So this school is in South Africa. It is a public school. And you can put the address of your school. So I've put my first one which is the school. Now date of entry. Uh so this is when when when you started high school. U mine was a long long time ago. I think it was like 2010 January, right? Um, and is this a boarding school? No. Did you graduate or will you graduate from this school? Yes. And they're going to ask you for when do you think you will graduate? Okay. And basically, I graduated in 2012. Now, did you graduate or will you graduate early? Um, so I actually graduated early. So, I'll put that there. And basically, you can provide details of it. Okay. So, you're going to provide provide some details here. I graduated one year earlier or something along those lines. Okay. And again, you you don't have to you don't have to um um answer one of these here. You could answer no change um in progression. Okay. So, let's continue. Now they're going to ask you for any if you've attended any other schools um high schools at least um not listed in the previous section. So most people again is no but if you've attended like multiple high schools and this is where you would actually put a yes. Oh um you would actually put a number sorry now colleges and universities have you ever taken course with a college or university? If you have you'll put it here right and you'll try find the college and then you'll uh put information. So for instance, let's say um you you studied somewhere at a college or something along those lines. You can try and find that college, right? So let's just say u Unisa. This is a South African college. You don't see it. So what you'll do is you'll click it here. You put it in again. Okay? And then can see it's in South Africa. I put it in. And basically you'll say when you attended the school let's say in 2016 and let's say you know 2017. All right. And then did you earn a degree? Most likely not. Okay. Now this is important. So what you're going to do is you're going to talk to your high school counselor or whoever you can to find out exactly these details because this is very important. So we want to they want to know what's your class size right? How many people were in your graduating class? So how many people were in the gra in the class that you are graduating with. So usually this is grade 12 and um in South Africa it was like 195 people or 190 people for instance. Um and then you can find out your class ranking. So, you need to ask your school counselor what your um class ranking might have been and they'll be able to give it to you. And if they can't, then you can hit none over here. But if they do, try and fill in one of these. So, let's say you were ranked at um 10 out of 190 90. That means that you had better grades, right, than 180 other people because you're number 10 out of 190 people. So, you are smarter than 180 other people basically uh because you are number 10. Okay. Um and here the ranking again rank waiting is it's like whether your GPA are weighted or unweed. The best way to do this is just to Google or to ask your um actual school counselor. Um so I'm going to put weighted over here and you can put your GPA and stuff like this. But again, if you don't really understand these things and they're not required like this, if they're not required like this, right, then don't fill them in. So honestly, for many of the people, I would actually just come click none over here and um not put if you if you can't get that information. Okay. um including here. I wouldn't put anything if I can't get that information. Now, hit continue because that will still allow you to apply. Um so, what they're going to ask you is please um courses you are taking this year. So, this is how how many like courses are you taking right now? Uh and basically it's required. So, you have to put a number. Okay? And you can put whichever courses you're taking etc because you're usually a high school student. Uh another reason why they have this here is to try and understand um which courses you're taking. If you're not currently enrolled, please list courses from your most recent academic year. Okay? So again, if you're not currently enrolled, put the uh the course that you uh that you most recently did. Now, most of the time it's going to be yearly for the courses in your guys's country, like how long the courses were. Um so it's going to be yearly and then you can put a subject or like whatever it is, right? whatever subject is here. So you can put English for instance and you'll just say intro to English if it's just in your high school class and then course level um you'll just place what type of course level it is right is it an honors course level and or what type of course level it is you can just put regular standard and um fully year is the course schedule and then you can hit continue. So, honors. This basically means do you have honors credit? And by honors, it means that you took a course that was much harder than the course that was offered at your school and it was designated as an honors course. So, most of you guys are going to say no here, but if you say yes, you're going to actually put the course that you that you took. Okay? So, most of you guys are going to say no here, though. So, community based organizations to indicate the number of community programs that you um that provided you with free assistant in your application process. So, if somebody helped you, you would put it down here and you would actually tell them who helped you apply. Um, but most of you guys are going to be nobody. So, it's going to be zero. Okay. Future plans. So, um applying as a first year student, that's probably what you're going to be picking. um the highest degree you intend to earn. You can tell them, hey, maybe you want to go for just a bachelor's degree, master's degree or doctorate. Let's say you want to earn a doctorate. That's the highest degree that you want. And also it would ask you what's your um career interest. So let's say it's um you know business owner or something is your career interest. You can have that. Okay. So the next section here is tests taken. If you've taken a test, you're going to say yes over here. And basically, you are going to put in the test that you've taken. So, let's say you've taken the SAT test, right? Um, if you taken the SAT test, you are going to have to self-report your scores, right? So, you're going to tell them what you scored. Um, if you've taken the SAT or test or are planning to like take the SAT test or whatever test. So, I just put SAT over there. And then down here international applicants is promotion within your educational system based upon standard leaving exams given at the end of or at the end of lower and of senior secondary school by state. So okay. So then for international students basically they have another question over here where they're asking you um in order for you to uh go forward and graduate and all of those type of things you have to take an exam at the end of the year you know and most international students are going to actually say yes to this one. So most international students are going to say yes to this one. So what you're going to do is hit continue and number of past SAT scores you wish to report. So this is again how many scores you wish to report. Let's say you've taken it twice. You can report two scores if you want to or you can just report one score, right? And of course this is going to be done after like you've taken your exam. Okay, this specific section here. So would you like to report an SAT score? You'll say yes. Uh number of future SAT sittings um you you expect. Let's say you still I'm not going you're not going to do the SAT anymore. you put zero here, but you could put one if you think you're going to be doing another SAT score. So, most times you guys are just going to put zero over here. And this would be now one. And then you you can put also, would you like to report an SAT essay score? You can you'd also probably be putting yes over here. Um, but yeah, so you can go through here and now you can actually put your score and basically you can put your score and when you took the test. Okay. And same over here, you'll put your score and when you took the test and you put the score and when you took your test. Okay, this one here again, this is going to be um for most international students, it's going to it's going to be required and basically they'll ask you how many number of senior secondary leaving examinations you've taken. Probably only one. And then you'll tell them when you took it. Let's say you took it in 2020, right? And you can tell them what type of exam was it. So, exactly over here, you'll see you see the West African Senior School Certificate. This is very common. You probably click this one if you're from West Africa. Um, and then there's different ones over here, right, that you could click, um, depending on where you come from. And you can also hit other and then you can just type it in here. But most likely it's West African. And then you can put the subjects and the scores. Um I'm just going to put ABC and maybe 100. I don't know the scores for West African stuff. And you can you can put actual or predicted. Okay. Now the next section here is going to be on the activities. Basically you're going to told tell them about the activities that you want to report. So you're going to say yes, I've got activities that you want to report. And you're going to put them down here. So these are things like you know if you've been doing things outside of school for instance computer technology maybe say that you um you are a um software engineer over here and you're building the app right and basically you'll talk you'll tell them your organization's name maybe it's ABC Corp right or ABC club should I put here and basically what you're also going to put over here is describe the activity. So you're going to say um I built websites websites for this app that does one two three four. Okay. And then you can tell them the grades you participated um in this little activity and also whether you done it all year and the number of hours per week you are doing it for and maybe the number of weeks per year you're doing it for um 50 for instance and do you intend to participate in a similar um activity in college? You can say yes. So definitely fill this out and you can keep on adding activities. So definitely fill it out. Um it's definitely good. It's going to help you out. Now, responsibilities and circumstances, you can actually have these things over here whereby you talk about um some of the responsibilities that you've had growing up. So, for instance, if you worked on a farm or if you're taking care of your own children or if you're taking care of younger family members, you can click anything here that you feel um applies to you. So, they cuz for instance, here they're asking you select which responsibilities you spend four or more hours per week doing. So let's say these are the responsibilities that you you you spend doing. And sometimes you can also just hit none of these. Okay. Um please select which circumstances you've experienced. Um they're asking you have you experienced commuting 60 minutes or more um to school each day. Living without constant heat, you maybe have that. Living without reliable internet, maybe that. And again, you can also put none if you didn't have any of these. Okay? But since I already clicked these ones, let's say we had these growing up. Um, then you hit continue and perfect. Now, this is where things get interesting because right now, um, I have a personal essay that I need to write. And as you can see, Dennis Car University, the one that I want to apply to, has an essay that I need to write. So, how does this all work? Basically what you're going to do is you are going to firstly acknowledge over here right so some colleges require submission of personal essays with your common app you may submit a personal essay to any college even if it's not required by that college if it's not required by the college you'll be given the option during submission to include your essay or not so here Dennis college what the college that I want to apply to actually requires a personal essay so what you're going to do is you're going to write about it. They're going they're giving you a prompt over here, right? They're like, "Hey, um, what do you want readers of your application to know about you apart from your grades?" Okay, so choose the option that best helps you answer that question and write an essay of more of no more than 650 words using the prompt to inspire and structure your response. Okay. Um so basically what you're going to do is you're going to click one of these. Um so for instance some students have a background identity interest or talent that is so meaningful they believe the application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds you like you then share the story. So you can click that if you want to do that. Um here is another one lessons from that you take from past obstacles. You could read and say hey does do I want to write about this or do I want to write about that or that or that? you decide, right? And even down here, share an essay on any topic of your choice. It can be one you've already written, um one that uh responds to a different prompt or one of your own design. So, if you want a free a free flowing essay that whereby you just answer whatever you want, you can just you can select this one. But let's say you want to select the first one, you are going to actually type in an essay over here. So, what I'm going to do is I'm going to type up an essay really quickly and I'm going to put it here. Okay? So, I actually wrote an essay over here and I just put it in here and basically this is the essay that I've just written. Now, you would write your own essay and of course make it much much better than mine. Trust me, this is not something you'd ever want to use in an application. So, I'm going to hit continue over there and then I'm going to give additional information. And basically what you're going to do here is um sometimes you know you you you had you had problems um growing up such as a war or a conflict or stuff like that. Make sure that you tell them about this. This is super important. This makes you unique. So if you face discrimination, if you had natural disasters or if you had war and conflict or anything like that, make sure you share it. Right? So would you like to share any of these challenges? Most of you guys have had these challenges and I would recommend that you share it and write an essay about it right here. Um, but I'm going to just say no. And this is another one. Would you like to share additional details? Again, most of you guys should be saying yes over here. Share as much details that is going to help strengthen your application such as your struggles, right? Uh maybe if you didn't get good grades or anything, share more information about your application right here. Okay, I'm going to say no. And I'm just going to hit continue. Okay. Now, now that you have all of these um sometimes courses and grades, um colleges will ask about them, but this college doesn't. So, now I'm going to go to my colleges. Okay. So, I have one college over here. I can add more and more colleges, but basically I can click more details for this college. And you can see now that it has a couple of things here. So, this is the college Dennis University that I'm trying to apply to. So what I'm going to click is questions for Dennis University and as you can see they have more questions here and then a submission. So over here they're asking you when do you want to start. I'm going to click 2026. Um I am going to click regular decision. Um they they have these different type of decisions over here. Early decision basically means you're going to select them first if they accept you. Um early decision two means you you can I think you can select them second or something. Or or is it still select them first? I'm not too sure but one of the two. Um but most of you guys are going to just click regular decision. Okay. Are you considering taking a gap here between um high school and college? Nope, I am not. And if you're unsure, you can also say not sure. And then other questions over here is unless specify um uh Dennis considers all applicants for fall semester. Okay. Please indicate your preference, you're most probably going to be going for fall semester. Um so international students are required to provide English proficiency test results and may choose to substitute them with the SAT or ACT. Um so most likely you're going to say um yes or no here depending on whether you've taken the SAT or not. If you haven't then you would say no. I do not intend to submit official ACT or SAT. Um I am applying as a test optional candidate. Um you can you can click that. Um but remember for a uh international student you have to have then a proficiency um test just to prove that you are proficient. If you're an international student how do you plan to demonstrate your English proficiency? You can say um either you've taken the SAT but I already said I'm not taking the SAT. Um so basically it could be either the the TOEFL the LTS Dinglingo test any of these. Okay. So let's see. Let's say it's the ELTS. Okay. Do you intend to apply for need-based financial aid? Remember, this is super important. This is how you make how you get money from the school. So, make sure that you fill this out and say yes whenever they say about need-based financial aid. Okay? So, if you look over here, please understand that by choosing to be noninancial aid applicant, you will not receive any need-based financial aid if you say no. Okay. Do you intend to apply for need-based financial aid? Yes. Make sure this is yes because um of course I say this makes no impact um to the admission at Dennis uh but you want to be able to get financial aid. So say yes. Do you plan to compete as a varsity athlete in college? So if you want to play sports, you can say yes and you can um or you can basically select which sport you want to play. Okay. Dennis University allows submission of an art portfolio so that your talent is shown etc. Um so basically if you're good at art or music or anything like that you would say yes over here if you plan to submit one but I don't plan to submit one so I'll say no. Then you go to academics basically you'll select what you want to study. Um and then you can select what's your second choice. Let's say it's astronomy. Um and then you can continue. The activities already come from before. Um but basically you can select any other activities that you want. Um you can also select a resume and then contacts. Have you previously applied to Dennis? No. Um if you wish to be contacted via phone, please put your phone number here or please consent to having your phone number. And basically you can put it here if you want to be contacted by phone. But most of you guys will probably be a no. Okay. So just hit continue. Your family. um they will ask you some questions about your family based on the parents or information. Um do you have any parents or guardians who live in a known address different than your own? So if your parents do not live with you or they live in a different location um than you, then just say no or then say yes if they live somewhere else. But then if you guys all live together, say no. Are you are any siblings also applying for undergraduate admissions to Dennis? Me that's no. would just be is somebody else applying to to the same school basically. Uh have any relatives attended Dennis University? Again, no. Um have any relatives ever worked at Dennis University? Again, no. Most people will be no there. Then recommenders. Um this is going to be allowing um people to actually um get your consent to give a letter of recommendation on your behalf. So here you're going to complete this form here and by completing this you're just going to authorize and allow them um get information from you and all of those type of stuff. So here you're going to just click I wave my rights to review all recommendations and supporting documents. So you should wave your rights. Okay. Um it's best for the colleges if you wave your rights. And then you're just going to sign. And now what you're going to do is you're going to invite recommenders. So you can invite a counselor, you can invite a uh teacher. So let's say I want to invite a teacher. What you'll do is you'll put the email address of the teacher and um and then you'll choose the subject. For instance, let's say it's English. And you'll put the name of the teacher. And then would you like the teacher to complete an evaluation for Dennis University? Yep. So you would say yes over here. Okay. And then you'll just hit invite. So now I'm just going to change this email so that it doesn't just go to somebody actually can come to me or somebody else and hit invite. Okay. And basically once you do that as you can see u it's going to send out an invitation to your teacher and they're going to fill it in for you. Um you can also invite your advisor. You can invite whoever you want. Anyway, now you can hit continue. And um once so once you get um the recommenders, so once the teacher actually fills out a recommendation for you, you'll be able to apply over here to Dennis College or Dennis University. Um so what I'm going to do is I'm going to make the teacher go and submit an application for me. Okay. So, as you guys can see, um, so the, uh, recommener has actually completed their recommendation. So, let's actually see. Let's actually refresh. Let's see. Let's continue. Um, so recommenders. Am I I think I'm missing something. Some I guess a counselor over here. Let's put another email here. person two, whatever your counselor's name is, you know, last name. Um, I'm just making fake names over here, which isn't a good thing to do. Uh, but basically, once you you do that, and then you come here, you can see that you can review and submit your application. Okay? Um, so I'll be honest with you, once you submit your application, there's no going back. Okay? Um again if there's a fee um that the the university asked for it will come here. But then if you've applied for a fee waiver then you should not need to pay for a fee. But basically this is how you can apply to a university. So basically what I can do next is go to my dashboard. Um as you can see I have colleges. I can go to my colleges. Uh what I can do is I can actually add some more colleges if I want to add some more colleges here. So what I can do is add more colleges here. And the way you can add more colleges is actually by just going to the college and actually coming and adding them here. So let me show you how you can do that. And so this is just the one college that I have. There's other colleges that you can apply to. So for instance, let's come over here and put in another college that I like. Colby and this is KBY College. Uh we can add it. There's another college that I had spoken about. It's called Bo Den College. Uh let's add that. And now if you go to my colleges over here, you'll have all three of them, right? And basically I can click on this one and you can see that they're going to ask you questions again. And basically you can fill out these questions. Um and you'll fill out these other questions here too. And then you're also going to have recommendations over here, right? Uh remember that you can put your recommend your recommenders over here also. So if somebody if they if your recommener has already created or done a recommendation for you, you can just go and select them. And as you can see, it it marks this as complete. You can probably put 20 colleges here. I remember I applied to a bunch when I were trying to get into college in America. But anyway, this is the common app. This is what you're going to use to apply to schools. I went through everything. I tried to be thorough. Uh but it is a very long process and you should take your time to submit these applications because it's going to help you get accepted to the schools of your dreams. Again, once you've completed everything, you it will look like this. This is how it will look like and you will review and submit your application. I'm not going to click this because I don't want to submit an application, but you will click this. Okay. Um and this is actually how you're going to be applying to your schools in America. Thank you so much for watching.
