I was able to study in America for free as an international student because I understood this one thing, and you definitely need to understand this if you wanna come and study in America. Now, there's over 70 of them that give full need based financial aid. And what that means is these schools are going to be looking at your finances. So they're going to look at your money, your parents money, your family's money, and then they're going to determine how much money you need in order to be able to attend their college or university. And what that means is if you only have $5 in your pocket, then the school can give you a full scholarship in order for you to come and study in America. And this is because they guarantee that they'll meet 100% of your demonstrated financial needs. Now, one of these schools is called Columbia University, and it's located in New York City. Now, Columbia University has this policy that they'll meet 100% of your demonstrated financial needs. And again, that basically means that if you get accepted to Columbia University and you've applied for financial aid at Columbia University, then they'll meet your financial needs, meaning they'll give you a full scholarship if you don't have the money to attend. So what you're going to do is apply To Columbia University using something called the Common App. Columbia University is also test optional, meaning that you do not need to do the S A T. Or the a C T. In order to apply. However, you do still need to do an English proficiency test if you come from a country that doesn't speak English or you didn't study in English. Now, Columbia University also gives full scholarships to international transfer students, meaning that if you're currently in your home country studying at a university or college, or if you're currently pursuing your H N D, or you already got your H N D. But you don't have a bachelor's degree, then you can transfer to Columbia University and get a full scholarship. The applications are still open for that.
