Bates College Full Scholarship for International Students 2026

One of the most difficult things about studying in America is figuring out how you're going to pay your tuition, your fees, and even your living expenses. Now, one thing that I wanted to tell you is that there is some good news. There are a couple of schools in America that can give you a full scholarship in order for you to come and study here. Now, in this video, I'm actually going to cover one of these schools. And I'm going to tell you exactly how you can get a full scholarship at this school and the whole process that is required in order for you to get a full scholarship. So, make sure you're watching this video to the end because there's a bunch of information that you definitely want to know when it comes to studying in America. So, as many of you guys already know, I was able to get a full scholarship to come and study in America as an international student. Now, the way I did this is I targeted schools that give full need-based financial aid to international students. And basically what that means is these schools look at your finances. So they look at how much money you make, how much money your parents make, and then they determine how much money they need to give you in order for you to be able to study at their school. So for example, let's say you only have $100 in your pocket and you show the school that you only have $100 in your pocket. Then what's going to happen is the school is going to determine that you probably cannot pay anything towards your education. So what they' do is they'd give you a full scholarship in order for you to come and study at their school. And that full scholarship would cover your tuition, your fees, your living expenses, your food, and sometimes even your medical insurance. Now, having said that, there is one of these schools that I want you guys to know about, and it's called Bates College. Now, Bates College is located in Maine and they have this very unique policy where they guarantee that they'll meet 100% of your demonstrated financial needs. So, this is a school that can give you a full scholarship if you want to come and study in America for your bachelor's degree. Now, the thing about base college is they are somewhat competitive to get into. So what you need to do is you definitely need to consider applying early decision to them so that you can increase your chances of getting into their school. Now how you're going to be applying to Bates College is actually by using the common app. Now the common app is basically a web application where you can apply to multiple schools at the same time. You're going to be applying to Bates College using the Common App. You're also going to need some letter of recommendations from your counselor and also from your high school teachers. And you're also going to need an essay in order to apply. Now, the beautiful thing about Baze College is that they do not require you to write the SAT or the ACT. It is completely test optional. However, if you do not come from an English-speaking country or if you have not studied in English, then you are still required to write an English proficiency test such as the TOEL or the ISS. So, that's how you're going to be applying to Bates College. Now, the other thing you're going to be doing is you're going to be filling out their financial aid form. So, Bates College has this financial aid form that you can fill out and that form is going to determine how much money you'd need in order to come and study at their college. So, you need to make sure that you fill out that form and you submit it to Bates College so that you can get the financial aid and scholarships. Now, one other thing about Bates College is all the applications are free. So you don't have to pay anything in order to apply to Bates College. And also Bates College accepts transfer students. And what that means is if you are at a college or university right now in your home country or even in America, then you can actually still transfer to Bates College and complete your bachelor's degree there. And if you transfer to Bates College, you are also eligible for the full scholarships. So, as you can see, this is an incredible opportunity, especially if you want to come and study in America as a transfer student. So, what you need to do right now is prepare your application for Bates College and apply to them. Remember, Bates College is somewhat competitive to get into. So, you need to make sure that your extracurricular activities are strong. That is what is going to differentiate you amongst everybody else. So you want to make sure that your extracurricular activities are strong and it takes time in order for that to happen. So make sure you're working on your extracurricular activity and then make sure you're working on your application so that you can submit a very strong application by the time the applications open.
