I wish I knew about these three things in particular because it would have saved me so much time when it comes to actually studying in America as an international student on a full scholarship. Now, the first thing that you need to know is that there are over 60 universities and colleges in America that give international students full need based financial aid. Now, what that means is that these schools are going to be looking at your finances and they're going to guarantee that they meet 100% of your demonstrated financial needs. Which means that if you get accepted to these schools, then they will take a look at your finances and then they'll determine how much money you need in order to attend. And they guarantee that they'll give you all the money that you need in order to come and study at their university. Now, the second thing you need to know is that you can apply for up to 20 of these schools at a time using something like the Common App. Now this is pretty cool because it gives you a centralized place where you can submit all your required documentation and you can Also submit your essays, and you can track everything. Now, the beautiful thing about something like the Common App is that you can actually get a fee waiver. So that means that you don't even need to pay in order to apply to the majority of these schools. This brings me to the third point. For each of these schools, you need to fill out their financial aid application. And this financial aid application is geared towards international students, so it's quite different from the one that Americans fill out. This one here is either going to be filled out using the C S S. Profile or the International Student Financial Aid application form. So some of these schools have that. And that's what you're going to be filling out. Once you've done all of these three things, then if you get accepted to any of these schools, you can get a full scholarship to attend if you do not have the money to attend.
