3 Steps to Get Full Scholarships in America (International Students)

If I had a younger brother or sister that wanted to come study in America on a full scholarship, then these are the three things that I would tell them. The first thing I would tell them is that they need to be looking for schools that give full scholarships to international students based on their demonstrated financial needs. So what that means is that the school gives you a scholarship based on your finances, meaning that if you do not come from a family that has lots of money, then the school can give you a full scholarship to attend their university. Now, the second thing I will tell them is that they need to apply to at least 20 of these schools. This is because many of these schools are quite competitive to get into, so you want to maximise your chances of at least attending one of them. Now, what's a great thing about applying to these universities in America is that many of them use something called the Common App, and you can apply for up to 20 schools on it. And you can also receive a fee waiver while doing so, meaning that you will not need to pay for your applications. Now, the third thing I'll tell my younger brother or sister is that they need to fill out the C S S. Profile and submit it to every school that they have applied to. This is because the C S S. Profile is How the schools find out how much money you have, and that's what they're going to use in order to determine how much money to give you.
