3 Full Scholarships in Canada for Master's Students (Travel Ban Alternative)
If you're affected by the US travel ban, these three full scholarships in Canada cover tuition, housing, and give you a monthly stipend. Applications open July–September.

If you wanted to come and study in America for your master's degree, but now your country is on the US travel ban list, then you need to know about these three scholarships in Canada, because they are full scholarships. And what that means is that your accommodation and your tuition are covered by the scholarship.
The first one is the McCall MacBain Scholarship, and it's hosted by McGill University. Now, this scholarship covers your tuition and fees, and it also gives you $2,300 per month in terms of a stipend. And what that basically means is that is money that you getting from the scholarship, so you can get that money and you can use it for your accommodation. Now, not only that, you also get a relocation grant which allows you to travel to Montreal in order to start studying at McGill University.
Now, the next scholarship is the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship at McGill University. Now, this scholarship is specifically designed for African students. This scholarship covers your tuition and your on campus housing. They also give you a stipend, and they also give you some visa and immigration support. Now, there's about 35 of these scholarships given each year at McGill University.
Now, that brings us to our last one, which is again a Mastercard Foundation scholarship, but this time at the University of British Columbia. Now, very similar to the one at McGill University, this scholarship covers your full tuition and fees, and it also gives you money for your stipend and housing.
So these three scholarships are fantastic if you're thinking about studying in Canada. The applications start opening up in July, August, and September, so what you need to do is start getting your documentation ready so that by the time these applications open, you can apply.
