[Music] If you want to come study in America, but you simply don't have the money or you come from a very poor background, then there are these 10 universities that you need to know about because they can give you a full scholarship to come study in America. Now, each of these schools actually have a policy whereby they guarantee that they will meet 100% of your demonstrated financial needs. Now, what this basically means is if you get accepted to the school and you've applied for financial aid at that school as an international student, this is usually done through the CSS profile. But if you've done that and you get accepted to these schools, then they guarantee that they will meet 100% of your demonstrated financial needs. which means that if you don't have any money to attend, then they'll give you a full scholarship in order to attend. Now, this is major because not many schools give international students need-based financial aid, but these schools actually do and they guarantee that they will meet your expected financial needs. So, if you don't have any money, then they will cover your tuition, your housing, your food, even sometimes your transportation. So, let's jump straight into it. The first school is called Amherst College and it's located in Massachusetts. Now, Amherst College is a liberal arts school and it is completely test optional, meaning that you do not need to submit the SAT or the ACT in order to apply to their school. However, if you do not come from an English-speaking country or you haven't studied in English, then you are required to do an English proficiency exam such as TOFL or IS or even Dualingo. Now, the second school is called Bowen College and it's located in Maine. Now, Bowen College is also a liberal arts school and it is also test optional, but their test optional actually extends beyond just the SAT and the ACT. They are test optional also for their English proficiency exams. So if you're an international student, you can apply to Bowen College without needing to do the SAT, the ACT or any English proficiency exams. The third school is called Brown University and it is part of the IV League. Now Brown University is located in Rhode Island. So, Brown University is not test optional, meaning that you need to submit the SAT or the ACT in order to apply to Brown University. Now, Brown University loves students who are independent learners. So, in your application, definitely try and show them that you love learning things outside of school. The next school is called Dartmouth College and it is located in New Hampshire. Now, Darmmouth College is also part of the IV League and it does require that you do the SAT or the ACT in order to apply to them. Now, Darmmouth College really loves leadership. So, what you would do when you're applying is to try your very best to show them that you are a leader and you have a lot of impact in your local community. The fifth school is called Harvard University and it too is part of the IV League. Now, Harvard is located in Massachusetts and they also require that you do the SAT or the ACT in order to apply. So, the strategy to get into Harvard is you want to show them that you have academic brilliance, but also that you do things of impact outside of class. So, you want to be doing things in your community which show that you have impact and leadership and that you are a gogetter. Now, the sixth school is called MIT and it's also located in Massachusetts. Now, MIT requires that you do the SAT or the ACT in order to apply. Now, the strategy in order to get into MIT is to show them that you are exceptional when it comes to math and science and they love it if you have gotten a bunch of regional or national awards. So make sure that you are focusing very heavily on your academics when it comes to applying to MIT. The seventh school is called Princeton University and it too is part of the IV league. Now Princeton University does not require that you do the SAT or the ACT. However, if you do not come from an English-speaking country or you are not educated in English, then you are still required to do an English proficiency exam. Now, the strategy in order to get into Princeton University is they love seeing that you have commitments. In particular, they love seeing that you have very long commitments. This would be something like launching an organization and you've been working on that organization for several years. So, you're not just doing a bunch of random extracurricular activities. You have narrowed it down to only a few extracurricular activities that you've spent a lot of time on. The eighth school is called Yale University and it too is also part of the IV League. Now Yale University is located in Connecticut. It requires that you do the SAT or the ACT in order to apply. Now Yale University loves it when you show intellectual curiosity. So you definitely want to get that across in your application when you're applying to them. Now the ninth school is called Stanford University and it's located in California. Now, Stanford University requires that you take the SAT or the ACT in order to apply to their institution. Now, as a strategy to try and get accepted, Stanford really loves it when you are partaking in worldclass activities. So, stuff like launching a startup, that is something that Stanford absolutely loves. So, make sure that you have these type of extracurricular activities to present to them when you're applying. Now the 10th school is called Colombia University and it too is part of the IV League. Now Colombia University does not require that you do the SAT or the ACT in order to apply to them. This is because they are test optional. Now as a strategy to get into Colombia University definitely show intellectual curiosity. They love that. and also show that you're very interested in New York City because a lot of times people feel overwhelmed by that. So, as you can see, these are 10 schools that offer full scholarships to international students if you get accepted to them and you've applied for their financial aid.
